Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the enquiry form, and our legitimate interest in operating the comparison service you have asked to use. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or unrelated marketing.

The core of our service is introducing you to installers, so when you submit an enquiry we share the details you have provided with the vetted, accredited installers we match to your job. We share your data only for the purpose of those installers preparing and providing quotes. Each installer is an independent data controller for the data once they receive it, and their own use of it is governed by their privacy policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with parties unrelated to your enquiry. We may disclose data where we are required to by law.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to erase your data, to object to or restrict our processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, email us using the address below and we will respond within one month.

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations, normally up to 24 months from your last contact, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
